Homework is an important part of the fourth grade curriculum. Students are expected to do assignments and turn them in on time. Completed homework assignments will be used for grades in the grade book. Parents are encouraged to check over homework assignments.
The student should write all homework assignments in the agenda. If there is no homework, “NONE” should be written in that subject area so that there is no confusion. If the assignment is finished in school, it should still be written in the agenda. A check mark can be placed beside it.
The homework must be completely finished and brought to class in order to be considered done. However, I understand that it doesn’t always get done for many reasons. There are rewards and consequences for homework completion.
